I know I've said this before, but I do empathise with the NetBSD folks a lot. The instinct seems to always be "wait... why do you run that?" from other BSD people.

Ironically enough, I get the same question from Linux people about... BSD. What goes around, comes around I suppose.

And as of permissive licenses of BSDs, any distros based on any "base" BSDs can be developed and distributed like GhostBSD.
And more, even another base OS can be developed and distributed like HardenedBSD and CheriBSD.
All would be welcomed.😉
