I wish I could be at EuroBSDCon this year, but something else overlapped.
Truth is, I still don’t feel ready to come back ... not in person, and not even virtually in the community space.That doesn’t mean I’ve stopped caring. Quite the opposite: I still care deeply about FreeBSD, about BSD in general, and about the people who keep it moving forward. That part never left me.
A special thought goes to two people who were there this year. I would have loved to see you, even if I’m not at my brightest right now. 💜
Maybe one day I’ll join back again. For now, I prefer to observe and care from afar.
