Gah filling out passport applications. Ridiculous requirements. Canada says you *have* to use adobe to fill out the application, can't use another pdf reader or web browser. So I had to install it just for this, which took forever and gave me numerous gratuitous popups, then uninstalled it, which again took forever with inexplicable errors and also opened up their website without consent to fill out a survey.

@pomegranate_stew my guess is it's probably bullshit, and I could've done it another way, but didn't feel like risking it and having the wrong form somehow when I show up at the passport office.

Buy a computer with preinstalled windows in a brick-and-mortar shop.

Run home.

Add Adobe.

File the passport application.

Bring the computer back to the shop telling them you don't like it, and ask if they can give you a hair dryer instead, keeping the price difference for the annoyance 😄
