Another nice thing about the atlas (which is tagged as Public Domain by the way, you can check it out here: https://polona.pl/preview/8c90adba-7f04-45e9-b923-f79ab2d6452d), is the wealth of ship connections depicted, each line lovingly marked with the nationality of the company running it. Marseille-Yokohama in 38 days, anyone?
