    Reclaiming the past: was Kurt Cobain trans? https://medium.com/@dr.ow.sy/reclaiming-the-past-was-kurt-cobain-trans-6386d3e20badWhile we don't know there's certainly a lot there, from Kurt saying they wished they had breasts to saying they identified and felt more comfortable with women and over and over again saying they did not identify as male and also saying they thought their soul was gay.Honestly I have wondered this a lot myself, and I think there are two reasons I spent my entire "masc" era in grunge attire: it was the clothing that most abstracted away the sense of self, and there was something about Kurt in particular that I felt a lot of attachment to. So maybe I'm projecting. But I have long wondered so myself.
