I think I have finally broken off my relationship...
with NotePad++
NP++ not having a Linux version is one thing. But lately NP++ has been running heavy on my cheap laptop.
Geany has no problem, and seemingly uses next to no resources, while editting the same files. Sadly I don't _love_ Geany, but it's on Win+Linux so it gets a pass... For now.

@afreytes fun fact: that's how vim became my favorite editor 20+ years ago. I tested a number of cross platform editors and despite the steep learning curve vim was the only one that was lightweight enough and relaxing enough on my wrists

Piccola vittoria: ho installato Linux Mint sul Pc del papà di un mio amico! Il mio amico era abbastanza stressato perché il padre (non molto pratico di pc ) ogni due giorni aveva un problema, un crash, ha pure preso dei malware ecc. E lui andava ad aiutare a ripulire! Da quando ha Mint, dopo i primi giorni di assestamento, silenzio radio ! tutto alla grande e si trova benissimo. Ora mi ha chiesto se gli metto su il programma per giocare a scacchi online e quello per sentire le radio online 😂
