So... given that Win10 support is EOL, and I kinda want to avoid Win11... What's the take on Linux these days? I mostly use computer for C++ development: Visual Studio, Fork, Superluminal. What's the least amount of hassle? GPU is nvidia.

@aras visual studio doesn't work on linux right now, which is a major blocker to me adopting it as my main OS
people will tell you to use vscode as if it's equivalent in quality and usability to visual studio. it is not

@aras also as a primarily windows user who has only dabbled a tiny bit in linux i prefer linux mint orders of magnitude to ubuntu which just has way too much bizarre nonsense going on
