@lritter @spacehobo tbh "gimp (mask)" is the dominant use of the word by a long shot, but either way I'm happy to oblige marginalized people standing up for their dignity

@materialgirl come già hanno scritto altri, fare la maionese in casa non è difficile, ma è difficile da soli mangiarsi quella che si ottiene anche solo da un uovo nel tempo limitato di conservazione
invece quella industriale per qualche motivo (immagino la pastorizzazione?) dura mesi anche aperta, e se ti fa piacere ogni tanto mangiare un cucchiaino o due di maionese su qualcosa è una soluzione molto più pratica.
certo, se si ha una famiglia di 12 persone si può benissimo fare la maionese in casa tutte le volte che serve, ma non è proprio il target standard della maggior parte dei supermercati :D

@RethinkJeff I have no idea what pan bread is, but we usually do “stuff” with it (we call them frittelle but that's a bit of a misnomer even in Italian): basically shape the thing any way you want and throw it into the frying pan without the chicken. Not only it's edible but also tasty.

I had my first PR merged into Medley Interlisp.
Although I worked on other PRs related to documentation and the project site, this is the first involving actual system code. The change was absolutely trivial, removing a duplicate line of code, but helped me get familiar with the setup and workflow of tracking and compiling modified files.
It turns out working on system code is pretty much the same as user code. You use the same tools and go through similar steps.
I guess now I'm a hotshot core kernel developer or something.

Non è per niente semplice, e non basta girare un interruttore: ci vuole tempo, ma - come dice Rosita - bisogna volersi bene.
Le cose e le persone che ci fanno del male non sono per noi, ma contro di noi: reagire-autistima-vaffan sono azioni utilissime.
