Back home in London after three weeks travelling across South Korea and western Japan. I fell in love with both countries, and if it weren't for looking after my aging parents would at least day-dream about being an awful "digital nomad" there.
The cats were actually pleased to see us, since they had company the whole time we were away so there was no hint of feral, we don't need no stinking humies.

This works better than I could have ever hoped. It can now import quite complicated images, optimally split colors across two sprites, detect borders and fine details and try to put them in the high res overlay sprite. I was expecting to need to do a lot more cleanup on imported assets, but it sometimes works optimally (or at least as good as I could do by hand) right off with no tweaks.
