@Edent what's so bad about <div> ... or: Why do you want to avoid them?

@Edent re: doing retirement wrong. It took me two and a half years after leaving my gig to feel like I was really adjusted to the new reality. Curious to see if you have a similar trajectory.
-
@Edent I can highly recommend Duck Spicy while you are there.

@Edent My blog was text-only for about a year until I redesigned it a few weeks ago. I kept the text-only posts though, adding “.txt" to URLs.
For posts with lots of images, it still looks good.

@netopwibby nice!

@Edent Tbf, there have not been a lot of changes to the gopher protocol in the past 7 years.

@henryk sure, but there have been a *lot* of changes to Android in that time. Both in terms of UI and security model.
-
@Edent Doesn't seem like it, my search a few months ago came up similarly empty.

-
@Edent perhaps it works with Firefox plus extension.
-
Overbite still works fine although as I understand things the Android branch is no longer being updated.
-
@Edent You can use Lagrange for Gopher navigation. The app can be used for the Gemini protocol as well.

There are also proxy services allowing one to view gopher from a Web browser such as the one found Floodgap https://gopher.floodgap.com/gopher/gw?gopher://gopher.floodgap.com:70/1/

@b34n5 I can't find an Android version of that - can you share a link, please?

@Edent You need to add the repository to F-Droid. Here's the link: https://skyjake.github.io/fdroid/repo/

@Edent
Just checked, I get the same result in Firefox, but it works fine with Vivaldi. I also checked with the Duckduckgo browser on my phone (using the DDG !gopher bang that uses the proxy) and again worked fine. -
