@rufustheduck The Max I know best is a dog, but he wears jingle bells, too. Maybe it's a very hip look(sound?) for Maxes.

Another picture of Max
I put multiple bells on his collar to make sure birds and mice can hear him coming
Now he's so loud, I can usually tell where he is, even when he's streets away
But I think he's annoyed because I made him look like a Christmas tree and sound like Santa's sleigh

A neighbour of mine has 5 cats. The are incredibly adept at leaving their collars, neck ruffs, trackers, harnesses and any other thing she puts on them in other people's gardens.
Sneakier and more cunning than a fox, I reckon!

@rufustheduck @greem ours strictly know that if they want to go out, they have to wear the harness. We just adopted a newly trapped cat and heâs adjusting to it but until he gets it, heâll just be a strictly indoor cat. He seems fine with that. Our cat Max is a Siamese so heâs a very dog like cat to begin with. Heâll come running when I pick up the harness and purr while I put it on but weâve been walking him for 10 years now since we got him.

@rufustheduck @greem we have a lot of coyotes in our neighborhood despite living in Seattle, so unsupervised outdoor time is definitely not an option that Iâd consider.

@rufustheduck Back when he was young, we tried taking Knold outside with a harness. It was relatively fine, but when we built our catio, we didnât keep it up.

@ludman1 Yes, the 'Invite to server' triggers the "Great Invitations" aka Easy Invites. Prosody and Snikket have that and since recently ejabberd as well.
This is exactly for small, family and friends deployments that donât have open registrations.
Iâm not exactly sure how the access control looks like on ejabberd. Maybe only the admin can trigger easy invites. I guess theoretically there are also deployments possible where all users could trigger them.
@zeank can probably tell you more.

The last menu "Invite to server" what exactly should be (I have no spare phone to test)?
Is there something in common with the Great Invitations recently added by @zeank to Ejabberd?
Because the generated xmpp URI by this menu looks similar like if I create invite from the command line.
Also, my IBR are disabled and no one can send great invites except me from the command line.
So in my configuration this menu should not work (as I expected)?

@phabrizio @jones io con alcune persone uso xmpp, ma la quasi totalitĂ dei miei interlocutori usa whatsapp e nessuno ha non solo interesse ma nemmeno capacitĂ per usare altro (perchĂ© sono persone anziane, perchĂ© sono del tutto incapaci nonostante siano piĂč giovani, perchĂ© ancora capiscono ma non hanno voglia).
