First it's the trans folks, then it's all the other queers.

First it's the trans folks, then it's all the other queers. And if anyone around here didn't see it coming, hie you to a library and learn something about history before they try to burn all of those down.

"First they came for..."
And precious few have taken this sentiment to heart nor have even taken a solid second to try to understand the meaning contained therein... đ¤ˇââď¸đ¤Śââď¸đ¤ˇââď¸đ¤Śââď¸

@theogrin@chaosfem.tw and I expect that US-based fedi instances could probably be the next.

@theogrin oof. Yeah this is another bad sign. Things can get MUCH, much worse here if we arenât active in pushing back. We remember how Germany regressed.
Hetero and cisgender folks gotta step up. White people, itâs you. We vastly outnumber the knot-sees if in fact we arenât them so letâs keep up the pressure and make sure itâs a true extinction burst -

@theogrin replace it every time itâs taken down!!! Do not comply.

Ah yes, the LGB without the T "movement". I remember hearing something a while back about it being heavily (if not entirely) astrot(u/e)rfed by organizations like the so-called "heritage foundation" (those Project 2025 folks), among others (however I can't actually find a concrete source for that at this moment)

@theogrin if I lived anywhere near there, I'd be *really* tempted to keep putting up my own queer flags, over and over again. And I'd encourage everyone else to do the same. And eventually we'd either get our recognition back, or every square inch of that monument would be covered in rainbows.

@theogrin They did this in 2019 as well, but the flag was across the street from the park.
For those who don't know, this is a tiny triangle of land designated as a National Park. It is locked up most of the time, including during Pride fest. It is run by the Federal government. (they might shoot you) You cannot just go in and put up another Rainbow flag. -
