By the way, if you happen to be #trans and live in #Kansas, and you're looking into making my joke above a reality, look into the Trans Continental Pipeline
that might help you relocate to a safer state.
(Sadly, and predictably, they're currently swamped with requests.)

In the UK a plumber & plasterer just won a by-election (mid-term) to become a left-wing Green Party MP (Senator, sort of), beating the fascist Reform Party (Republican) and governing, insipid Labour Party (Democrat) candidates.
