@Crocmagnon @Marabilles @cercle there are many people here who speak multiple languages... or who have studied French. I for one speak three languages... so it was worth a shot for maximum visibility...

@shoofle to steal mcc's material, the singularity already happened thousands of years ago when humans started developing writing systems during the late bronze age, which allowed them to use technology (clay tablets, etc) to augment their intelligence (keep track of wheat). this resulted in the gradual invention of new technologies (books, printing presses, increasing elaborate methods of etching) that in turn made the humans smarter and smarter each time

like maybe an ai singularity is possible. but you certainly shouldn't conclude that based on the evidence we have imo
