@fedicat did you receive some notification that my old posts are "edited"? I was changing the quote policy of some old posts 🤔

I was wondering whether to bother supporting it since you can change it by editing the post, but I'm guessing the point is to avoid generating edit versions and notifications?

@fedicat yeah, using the interaction policy endpoint. Mastodon web only support interaction policy endpoint (changing quote policy is disabled in composer). Phanpy supports both 🤪

It's more like a faster shortcut instead of loading the whole composer. After changing the quote policy, I don't see it in the edit history tho', but weirdly seeing folks liking/boosting the exact old posts that I changed the quote policy (from "just me" to "anyone") 🤔

@cheeaun now that you mention it, I am seeing old posts popup in my feed, I didn't pay attention to the date
