@arnodegroote @rwaschbaer @dansup ironically if I use `Note`, it is already possible to publish long form text to pixelfed in the same way it is already possible on mastodon.

Yes sure, but be that as it may, the whole idea of the federation is another! Then pixelfed should defederate and just be a standalone plattform, because none of their users is interested in the rest of the fedivers, as it seems... am I getting this right?
