@Tutanota Tuta won't spy on me. True. But its web interface's inaccessibility to blind people does. I am currently using it for my service provider's newsletters only, because to select one e-mail from the interface and reading it, I need a sighted person to help me clicking with the mouse on it. So, if the sighted person talks about how much I spend on hosting provider, the problem isn't relevant; but if I exchange private, sensitive, health, SEXUAL information? As the web interface currently is, I can't even think of it. In 2024 it was nearly the best in accessibility, whose hands went on it?

@Tutanota GMX looks solid too except E2E Encryption. 65gb storage & 50mb of 📎. Grt.
Tuta also needs to increase storage size from 1gb to 10gb atleast for free users. -

I am not personally affected by this but definitely an important feature to have in ANY web service @Tutanota!!!

Personally I use the free version because ✨broke student✨ and I quite enjoy it, to me it’s as usable as gmail (if not more because gmail’s settings menu is TRASH). Also has a lot of the important features available on the free version, which I sadly can’t say about Proton since that one has most features I need behind a paywall (eg more folders).

@thatonewalnut @Tutanota what makes me angry is that sometimes it's just a very small update's fault. And it _unwillingly_ creates a huge mess.

Mailbox.org?
@u_urban @Tutanota, I guess in this specific case the confusion may come from a mismatch in Mastodon posts & actual blog posting times.
On Mastodon, this mail comparison image was posted an hour ago (2026-01-31) but the blog post was on 2026-01-27.
DeGoogle image (where Mailbox.org was mentioned) was posted on 2026-01-25 while the blog post was published on 2026-01-28. I'm actually lost how it's even possible
perhaps the blog post was edited -

perhaps the blog post was edited@u_urban, though I do agree it definitely would be fair to include Mailbox.org, since it's not a first time in was included in Tuta's deGoogle lists
@Tutanota, your visual info representation is easy to process and generally very useful but sometimes it lacks consistency, leaving you to wonder what was wrong with options left out
