I want to play a song for my friend! I connect to her bluetooth speaker.

The bluetooth speaker starts playing music but also starts blinking the text "CALL" (it has a screen). We don't know why it's doing that.

My friend looks in her speaker's manual. It says if this is happening, that on your PC you should go in your bluetooth settings and allow "media" but disallow "calls". I don't see anything related to "calls" in the GNOME settings. I don't know what it means for a laptop to get a "call".

@mcc chance the bluetooth protoco from call quality to music quality, it should disable the Bluetooth mic in the process

@mcc the one way I know is to open the `pavucontrol` utility and go to the "Configuration" tab where you can select the profile. There might be a more Gnome-ish app to do that

UPDATE: Inexplicably, the answer appears to have been to mute my microphone at the OS level, then disconnect from the bluetooth, then reconnect.

Maybe this popup box you get when clicking on items in the Bluetooth settings box would have done something, if I hadn't found the mute microphone trick yet.
