@brood@mas.to I used Google Docs for one simple reason: I don’t have access to a Nextcloud server, I’ve never tested one, and I don’t know if it would be as accessible to everyone I’m trying to reach. Google Docs is what I had available to get the proposal in people’s hands quickly.
Purity tests like this can actually stall good projects before they even start. The tools used in the bootstrap phase don’t define the governance or long-term structure—the members do.
And that’s the point: if you join as a member-owner, you’ll have a direct say in what tools get used going forward. That’s where these decisions belong.
