Bon. Mi è morto il notebook. ☠️
Ci ho lavorato stamattina; poi l'ho spento.
Oggi non riparte più. Si ferma al BIOS. Ho provato a cambiare alcuni parametri, ma non tiene le modifiche.
Il computer NON HA una batteria CMOS 🤨 quindi non posso neanche pensare che si sia scaricata.Lo avevo da poco "pompato": disco SSD e RAM raddoppiata. Per di più ci avevo appena messo Debian al posto di W10. 😭

@stefano_zan nell'ottica del "non si sa mai" proverei a togliere le ram aggiunte. A volte, soprattutto se il portatile ha diversi anni, i contatti ossidati potrebbero dare problemi strani

Dalle due schermate si vede che legge 12Gb e 4Gb con e senza il banco da 8.

@pierulisse ehm scusa... Non sono uno smanettone. Cos'è la sequenza di cui parli?
@stefano_zan all' accensione, prima di arrivare alla schermata del BIOS, il sistema fa il Power On Self Test (POST). Se ci sono cose tipo problemi con la RAM o altro, vedi una spia che lampeggia in modo anomalo, o senti dei suoni tipo beep. Il significato di questi segnali varia da macchina a macchina, di solito ci sono delle tabelle che trovi in rete.

Poi l’ultima è provare a partire da una chiavetta con una Linux live a scelta (così evitiamo le pruderie 😉) e poi se tutto fallisce sei nel pieno della Legge di Murphy.
Considera che va a corrente, anche una lampadina fulminata l’ultima volta s’era accesa.

Exactly one year ago, on 30th December 2024, I laid the foundation of FediMeteo.
I took a VM, installed FreeBSD, and set up the first jail to support Italy. The goal was to create a tool for my own use, support a few countries, and announce it.
Unexpectedly, the enthusiasm was incredible. That pushed me to keep going, support more countries and cities, and turn it into what it is today.
FediMeteo now supports 38 countries and 2,937 cities, with more than 7,700 followers in the Fediverse alone, not counting the many people who follow via RSS feeds or visit the web pages.
