Both the washbasin and bidet drains are completely clogged in my hotel room’s bathroom. The toilet works at least. And let’s hope the shower drain, too. That’s what you get for choosing a cheap hotel. Hotel Flora, Milan. Not recommended.

Or actually, the drains aren’t clogged, but the plug mechanism is stuck. Once the plug had been pushed closed, apparently by the cleaning stuff to reduce smell from the drain, it was fairly impossible to get it open again. The lever behind the faucet doesn’t work.
Luckily I had a small suitable universal tool (read: nail scissors).

In other words, welcome to southern Europe.

I never understood what’s wrong with a plain simple separate rubber plug instead of these silly mechanisms.
