Once again the #Trenitalia ticket controller very carefully checks my €3 seat reservation (bought from ÖBB), and is not interested in checking that I actually have an #Interrail pass valid for travel today, in First Class. Hmm.

Some day I want to stay a few days near the lovely Taormina Giardini station. The railway goes right along the beach here.

The best opportunity to get up close and personal with a train is on a train ferry.
