@bethroots got it! :) ah, i can see the problem immediately - it's html, and typogenie only really works with markdown documents and raw txt :) but it IS a good idea with html, i'll actually see what i can do about this, it shouldn't be *too* difficult to add, i don't think

@lashman No worries. Last time I did a takeout, I used a massive bunch of Word macros (VBA?) to clean up the HTML. When I saw your TypoGenie come across my TL, I thought it was worth a try. I'll keep an eye out for your next release. Thanks!

@lashman @ansiblegames I was wondering the same. I read through the Security points, but I didn't see anything relating to blocking a bad actor and preventing them posting again under a different account... How is that handled?

@normplum @ansiblegames since echoboard is anonymous you can't really "ban" someone (they just clear cookies and come back). instead we make their actions ineffective, proof-of-work makes spam expensive, rate limits and vote budgets keep things in check. phantom voting makes bad votes silently not count, trust scoring flags suspicious activity, anomaly detection catches coordinated behavior. basically don't try to block them, just make everything they do pointless

@d10c4n3 e come la applichi questa responsabilità se gli irresponsabili non sono sanzionati? E come li sanzioni se non ci sono controlli? E come li controlli se non fai un concorso pubblico per assumere più controllori? Quanto agli "appiattimenti", in Italia i GIP sono talmente "appiattiti" sulla funzione accusatoria che per archiviare l'omicidio di Carlo Giuliani la GIP ha firmato una ordinanza in cui sono palesemente contraddette le leggi della fisica e la luce viaggia veloce come il suono.

Per esempio il tema della responsabilità esiste, come l'appiattimento del GIP sul PM (come, seppure da posizioni opposte, hanno spiegato Di Pietro e Mastella, che sono stati i migliori che ho sentito in questa campagana elettorale, per dire quanto scarsi sono stati gli altri!), come l'abuso della carcerazione preventiva...

@d10c4n3 @salvadorbs prima delle riforme vorrei vedere cosa accadrebbe intervenendo sulla malagiustizia, applicando la legge che già c'è, assegnando la giusta quantità di risorse economiche, reclutando la giusta quantità di personale, espandendo e finanziando adeguatamente la funzione pubblica come si conviene in una moderna democrazia europea, invece di trasformare in icone folkloristiche nella TV di stato le procure come quella della Tataranni, con una sola archivista che si fa i fatti suoi.

@gubi @salvadorbs sì. ci tenevo a mettere i puntini sulle i perchè il fornte del no a mio avviso a fatto una compagna che sembrava dire che il sistema giudiziario non ha bisogno di essere riformato. Probabilmente non serve mettere mano alla costituzione, ma delle riforme servono eccome.
