Meanwhile, here I am, still angry that Scavenger's Reign got cancelled after just the one season.

@afreytes Nah, I don't need to see more art that trumpets US Confederacy Lost Cause shite with a scifi veneer. Producing that eats up time, effort and creative juice that could go towards making more scifi that /isn't/ blowing smoke up the arse of rank propaganda.

I feel bummed because I wanted a live action something, I am already hating the character design (there's no character design yet, but I am sure I will hate it). What if they're all good actors (they are indeed) but they'll dub like shite? That's also a possibility. I WANT A NEW LIVE ACTION SERIES!

Seriously though, I know Tudyk is a great voice actor, but I'm not aware of what the others are like.
An animated series can be amazing. Perhaps they could join forces with critical role. Main issue there would be an high risk of amazon involvement.

But really it feels like prejudging and precensoring something they havent even seen yet... But like I said I would like to have the option... @afreytes I see. Honestly I think, if any new Firefly stories are to come out, animated series is the best medium for it.
Not knowing who's involved and who is not, I can't really comment on it, though I hope Nathan Fillion is involved somehow.

It's less that I want less art, and more that I want less Whedon/Fillion/Confederate apologism. I have more thoughts than I can probably effectively convey 500 characters at a time, because I don't even necessarily disagree with the themes (the government _is_ out to get you, but also holy shit we can deconstruct it better than this)

I love firefly, but especially in the context of modern everything, ugh, someone else please give me space cowboys.
