Looking for advice/assistance with an #accessibility concern:

I have 598 digital comic strips that could use transcribing. They're mostly daily newspaper-style, with the occasional larger format. Virtually all text is handwritten.

There's probably OCR software that could reasonably pull out text with a batch job, but I'll have to verify results for each strip, and manually add descriptions of the action/scenery.

Sadly, this seems a bit too daunting for me. Any ideas to make this easier?

@jsstaedtler Are you under a particular time constraint? If not you could just do N amount each day for a while. Keep it a manageable load that doesn't feel overwhelming, and you will be done *eventually*. Not sure there is a shortcut to it really.

@mezz No hard deadline, though I want to host these comics online as soon as possible. So by this method, I would likely put them up without descriptive/alt-text, after which I would slowly update them as I'm able
