Cities across the US have citizen organized #ICE rapid response crews, but in #LosAngeles they have formalized these teams into "Liberty Vans." Each van carries a lawyer, a faith leader, and a videographer to document ICE raids and initiate community support.
We've all seen how ICE agents run from faith leaders and crowds of ordinary white people, so imagine the response when a van with three professionals rolls up.

Oh hey, this is doing numbers, so let me repeat something anybody can do to help:
Every US city has pro-immigrant groups organizing #ICE watches. They need bodies! I'm involved and I am nothing special, just a basic white chick who isn't even fully fluent in Spanish. I'm a pylon, but hey, pylons have some use for safety. 🤷🏼♀️
You can find a pro-immigrant group in your area. Call them and ask how to join ICE watch. Then join in and/or spread that info all over town! They need help!

La dolcissima (no, Luna non è dolcissima, Luna è una Fremen: mai perdonare, mai dimenticare. Lei sa. Nessuno le ha chiesto se voleva lasciare la mamma e venire in questa casa e certamente se gliel'avessero chiesto avrebbe risposto no. Lei non dimentica nonostante suo fratello si sia venduto per un po' di coccole e buon cibo e ci tiene a farmelo sapere ogni volta che mi guarda.)...la dolcissima gattina Luna ha imparato ad arrampicarsi sulla nostra schiena e si sistema sulla spalla mentre mangiamo annusando ogni boccone.
Nipote ha un'aspirapolvere...che parla. Figlio di nipote, che quest'anno inizia l'asilo, si pianta davanti all'aspirapolvere e le? gli? intima veementemente di stare zitta perchè ha rotto i maroni. L'aspirapolvere non ascolta molto, purtroppo, ma l'iniziativa è lodevole.
