Went back to check on the tree with the gelatinous blobs. Definitely only on a couple of small branches (on a very big tree) so based on information from the Tree People of Mastodon I am hopeful for its survival.
Took some more photos while I was there. I really need to go when there's some proper daylight, but that might be a couple of months away 😆
Should probably also stop posting things that are too small to make out on phones, but not to worry.

Just one friend on this Tuesday's group ride, with windchill of 11°F (-12C) and beautiful light. Three days of snow fluff added up to nice conditions, albeit hiding a few ice patches.
