There’s a new brood of ducklings at work (9 for those that count), however, two of them were left behind in a water feature (where I found them this morning).

There’s a new brood of ducklings at work (9 for those that count), however, two of them were left behind in a water feature (where I found them this morning).
They were plaintively calling for their parents (who were nowhere to be found).
I’ve since been told they have been rescued from the pond, and we can only hope the parents and siblings turn up later today so they can be reunited.

@pupxel i might download a liveusb for it and see if everything Just Works later this weekend. I've got the "former project lead" of fedora in my mentions in another thread saying mcc and I wrong to complain about wayland, so between that and literally every desktop environment in fedora being broken in some way i'm feeling like maybe I need to put fedora on cooldown

Like - I get the "we're just testing basic skills" to spot people who are essentially lying. Fine, so make the test literally trivial. Read some numbers, find their mean, done.
Or there's the "we want something to start a conversation". OK, so don't have an actual answer (or at least not one that is sane). Ask them to make a program that plays checkers, write it in an hour, and be clear that there isn't going to be a "right answer" in just an hour.
