Alright, it's Monday and that means it's time for me to briefly plug all the things.

There are many programs on New Ellijay Television, like Shouting into the Void: https://newellijay.tv/shows/shouting-in-to-the-void/
Shouting into the Void follows a deep space telephone crew as they travel further and further away from home, laying interstellar communication line. (Please note that this series does contain ... rather a lot of explicit language.)
We're in the middle of rebooting Shouting into the void after 3 years of producing lots and lots of videos. We're much better at it now than we were when the pilot was released.
The show should just get better from here.
You can find a good list of not nearly all of our original programming and archival work here: https://newellijay.tv/shows/

One program in particular that I want to highlight from our archival work is SPACE PATROL.
https://vod.newellijay.tv/w/p/fFA2rXWXUFgoLJyVnHzymY
Space Patrol was an American science fiction Space Adventure television program that aired from 1950 to 1955. For most of it’s run, it aired 6 days a week, producing a 15 minute episode every weekday in the tradition of the soap opera (or I suppose, the Space Opera), and a half hour episode every Saturday. It aired 52 weeks a year, producing more than a thousand episodes of television (in addition to several hundred episodes of the Radio Program!) All of these episodes were produced Live, with little rehearsal, and broadcast live out to the world.
You can see some the weekly shows bellow, or you can click through to this page for more info and a link to the daily shows https://newellijay.tv/shows/space-patrol/

I archive Space Patrol out of my own pocket. I pay for the original film elements and digitize them and put them up online for the world to see.
I *really* love this show. Digitizing old film is complicated and I don't do it super well, but they're kinescopes, so there isn't really a "super well" way to do it.
A kinescope was created by pointing a film camera at a TV. That's how we did re-runs before Bing Crosby brought the world video tape.

There's honestly a ton more original stuff up on #NewEllijayTelevision and that's without also getting into the programming we syndicate from other creators, much of which is *also* excellent.
But that's enough TV for now.

In addition to our cable network, record label, podcasts, and video games...
I roast coffee!
We roast it for ourselves and for businesses around our community.
It's pretty good! Although the beans are getting hard to come by in the midst of ... everything.

Alright, so we've covered the TV Network, the Record Label, The Podcasts, the Video Games, and the Roasting Coffee.
I guess that leaves the bookstore and the toys.

I run a bookstore and cafe in the north GA mountains. We stock all manner of books from all around the planet.
https://www.hemlockbazaar.com/
We're a little short on stock right now, post holidays and during slow season, but there's some good stuff up on the website and we'll ship.
If you're ever in or around #ellijay come see us. It's a really neat spot and I'm proud of it.

And then there are the toys!
https://www.mountaintowntoys.com/brand/mountain-town-toys/
I make toys! I work with lots of people (like @djsundog and @selfsame and other folks) to design toys and I manufacture them using injection molding in the north GA mountains.

We're using a new kind of plastic to make the toys. It was designed for us by a group out of Atlanta. It's really easy to recycle, is about 25% post consumer recycled itself, and takes paint pretty well (that last bit doesn't sound like much, but it's pretty significant for DIY injection molding. Most of the plastics that are safe to use can't be painted.)
It's also flexible like traditional PVC, but is 100% PVC free. No vinyl, no chlorine.
There's a little more information about PAL here: https://www.mountaintowntoys.com/product/pal-toy-1lb-white/

We have lots more toys coming out this year, but for now I want to show off a couple of specific products.
Here is our Spacehawk action figure: https://www.mountaintowntoys.com/product/spacehawk-fun-size-heroes-coming-soon/

And, of course, there are our Sky Pirates.

I was inspired by films like The Aerial Submarine ( https://vod.newellijay.tv/w/5PsAueEF9vQugFygGEgSc8) ) and The Pirates of 1920 and The Pirates of 1920 ( https://vod.newellijay.tv/w/1j5f2ff4QMkGuoig3StXdQ ) and the 1915 queer science fiction film Filibus ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Filibus_1915.webm ) to release a series of short stories and action figures.

The first issue of my story inspired by the films, The Mysterious Air Pirates is also available now: https://www.mountaintowntoys.com/product/the-mysterious-air-pirates-volume-1-issue-1/
The second issue is finished, and is in the hands of some readers, and should be available online shortly.
I'll start doing ebooks soon too, I think.
