#introduction hey there! new to Mastodon, still figuring out how it works. I've been getting into self-hosting and really hating on big tech lately, so Mastodon seems great.
Bit about myself:
• Otaku for many years, mostly only have time for the occasional manga binge these days. Always exploring Japanese music, literature, and other media
• Recently got into Japanese handicrafts, like sashiko and kogin. I have big love for anime-inspired creators who make handmade goodies
• chiikawa very goodA few of my recent & all-time favs:
• DBZ
• panpanya
• Kino's Journey
• Witch Hat AtelierHope to make new friends here, nice to meetcha!!

Little bit of defensive backtracking from those present. "I don't really care about what they say they are but PC and woke is just—"
Me: "I aspire to respectful and empathetic communication, partly because it pisses off the people I don't like."
