@zelu It is. For example, the espresso I've posted - 1,20 at the bar, 1,50 € at the table. Not as huge of a difference than in France, but still.

@peterkotrcka@bsd.cafe I think many people in the morning going to work grab a quick coffee and leave the place, that's why the don't need to sit. This what I've been told when I was in Italy some time ago. Is this accurate @stefano@bsd.cafe ?

@zelu @peterkotrcka Yes, accurate. Having a coffee at the bar isn't (always) a "let's relax" thing but more a "I need a good coffee".
Some bars allow to have the coffee at the counter and consume it sitting, without paying more. So it depends.
