For the record, I did not find any silver. Three wheat pennies and about 50 pre-82 copper. 1.50 Mexican and 5¢ Canandian

@kwf that's a lot of change! I think a nickel was found somewhere in a box of old kitchen drawer stuff the other day here, but otherwise I can't remember the last time I saw any metal fiat being used since coming back to the US in 2017.
what does one do with this change other than deposit it to the bank these days? none of the parking meters take coins anymore, makes me feel pretty old!
