Mozilla is abysmally run. It has been abysmally run. The AI plan is asinine and shortsighted. It won't work. Mozilla is just not going to exist in ten years at this rate.
At the same time, I don't think people understand how much it actually costs to build and maintain a browser with a custom engine. Ten years ago the estimate was $100 million... annually. Every competitor of theirs other than Google and Apple gets to build their browser without this burden.
Mozilla's problem is critical to solve but I don't get how it can be solved.

@bradley thank you Bradley. I have to say, YunoHost's own guide is amazing but I wanted to write something super visual for true newbies... the kind of stuff I wish was around a year ago when I was researching self-hosting.
And yes, the speed of SSL certificate installation is incredible!

Alternative servers are still useful as a backup if your main instance goes down, and/or to separate a professional from a personal account.

@TimeLime just one quick addendum: in your case I wouldn't edit/tweak TXT and MX records for your top level domain, since they're connected to Proton. But it's a good idea to ask in the forum what to do
