@anolandria I can confirm, I'm blocked from pixelfed.social by Cloudflare when using the Tor Browser. This is a well known problem with Cloudflare. https://blog.torproject.org/trouble-cloudflare/ They consider Tor users hostile, categorically.@dansup, by using Cloudflare you are turning away some of the very people most in need of an open Fediverse.

Hello, elder queers. I need some help, please.I’m writing a scene set on Xmas Eve 1990. I’m looking for a cultural event (film, TV, music, current affairs, whatever) that could trigger an argument between a deeply closeted young man and his homophobic father. Can be something current or even a few years old, but can’t be later than that. #askfedi

Are there any #ornithologists ? I have a dumb question about sparrows (both house sparrow and eurasian tree sparrow).Near 3 days ago, I saw a lot of sparrows on the streets. Also a lot of them flew to my window to eat some seeds. Despite the air temperature was near 0°C.But suddenly, after one night all sparrows are disappeared from the streets — I see no one, only another species: crows, wagtails and tits.First, I thought that all sparrows are migrated somewhere. But from Wikipedia I learned that they may migrate only to nearby rural areas to eat some insects, if there are no food in the city. But (again) in my district are enough bird feeders with food.So I really have a question — where (and why) are all the sparrows flew? I live at the outskirts of city with a big count of trees and a small forest nearby, so looks like here should be good conditions for birds #ornithology #sparrow #migration #AskFedi
