@michaela Unter der Voraussetzung, dass für den Server SRV records eingerichtet sind wären mir keine Fälle bekannt in denen eine subdomain Probleme machen sollte. Im Gegenteil ist hostname ungleich domain part (der Teil hinter dem @) eigentlich fast schon Standard.
Das sich Clients gar nicht verbinden können (korrekte Certificates und korrekte SRV records vorausgesetzt) wäre auch eher neu.
Sonst hört man manchmal das nicht alle Clients alle Features können. Das ist wahr.
