@swelljoe It's fortunate that REAPER also has an open enough plugin system that a third party could do the work to make it practically accessible with a screen reader via a plugin. Most conscious attempts to make such efficient software wouldn't have that additional feature.

@matt oh, yeah, i didn't think about that. I knew they used their own toolkit for the GUI, which usually means poor accessibility. Do you know if there are any DAWs that have good accessibility from the vendor without a plugin?
I have no experience with accessibility for desktop software, as I've only ever worked on the problem for websites. I should read up on AccessKit, I guess.
