    Server specs and friendica version used:
    VPS server | Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
    PHP Version 8.1.2-1ubuntu2.14
    4 Core CPU, 8 GB Ram with 300GB NVME Disk
    Friendica [STABLE] | 'Giant Rhubarb' 2023.05 - 1518

    SPOILER - click to open/close || Installation environment and HowToThe only reasonable way to work with a VPSserver on the web is using the console.
    If you are not familiar with that don't worry, it is easy and the only thing you have to do is being able to copy/paste the commands displayed:
    ¡Copy/paste only the codeBoxes like this one, located outside of the spoilers of this tutorial one after another without altering the sequence!
    Of course it is necessary to change the specific file names and passwords for you indiviual site, but that's all. promise!
    On the console you wont be able to copy/paste with the keyboard ctrl-C/ctrl-V technique, you'll have to use the mouse "right click, chose option" technique.
    This tutorial was created on a desktop environment.
    There shouldn't be differences if you want to do this from a machine.
    The method used for communication between your local computer and the VPS server is called :
    Wikipedia - Secure Shell:
    "Cryptographic network protocol for secure data communication, remote shell services or command execution and other secure network services between two networked computers."

    @julian yeah, heavy on people who look more at the 'growth hackability' coefficient and profitability, than moral compass or the amount of soul you have to sell.But there are roughly 2 crowds on HN. A sizable group is comparable to value-aligned folks you find here on the fediverse. They are the ones making critical notes, and ensure many of the good articles pop up on the front page.And as a humane tech activist it is relatively easy to 'bump' the positive messages that blissful unaware devs need to see, to raise awareness on things. Esp. if you are in Europe it is relatively easy to get things to the front page that highlight the big problems of our modern tech.

Se usate molto i pdf lo consiglio.Se ne fate un uso sporadico, la vecchia versione 4 (ora siamo alla 5) è ancora "gratis per uso personale". Chiaramente ha qualcosa in meno rispetto alla 5, ma se appunto non fate cose sofisticate....Dal sito ufficiale code-industry.net non si trova, ma potete trovare qui i deb dell'ultima versione usabile gratis per usi non commarcialiIl deb sul mio portatilino 13" con mint funziona benissimo.https://www.linuxuprising.com/2019/04/download-master-pdf-editor-4-for-linux.html#linux #pdf
