For some time now, my #Debian #Linux desktop has been freezing instantly when I launch #Brave #Chrome #Chromium under #Wayland (kernel #Debian 6.16.8). If I put it to sleep and then wake it up, after a few minutes it goes into kernel panic due to #GPU lockup. Should I replace my aging Radeon R9 280X, which is probably “dying,” or is there a known bug on this issue?

Da qualche tempo il mio desktop #Debian #Linux si inchioda istantaneamente se lancio #Brave #Chrome #Chromium sotto #Wayland (kenrel debain 6.16.8). Se lo mando in sleep e poi lo risveglio, dopo qualche minuto va in kernel panic per #GPU lockup. È il caso di sostituire la vecchissima Radeon R9 280X che probabilmente sta "morendo" oppure c'è qualche baco noto sull'argomento?

I think it *is* clear that to describe the Trump Administration as fascist is not useful. Americans who pay attention to politics either believe it's obviously true or obviously false, so using the term changes no minds. Arguing about the term can indeed be a misuse of energy — it's more productive to criticise specific policies.
