Hello, I’m Emma (she/her). I have moved to a new instance, so it’s time for a fresh #introduction.
I am a science writer, but I’m starting to get (back) into writing fiction.
I’m #ActuallyAutistic, with an ever-changing portfolio of interests. Today I would say I’m into #books, #dragons & #botany.
I enjoy friendly conversations, but don't want to get involved in gnarly debates.
Oh, and I have a Mastodon alter ego that waffles on about growing plants in space.

In my case ... school/learning being "work", with or without ad-hoc paid self-employment ... it just happens whenever I scrabble the time together any time of day/week.

I'm going to sleep soon, so I will answer early. With my jobs at OEF and SWF over the last 18 months, I've been always. I have a lot to do this year, so I'll probably be always for the foreseeable future, even though I only have one job now. Thanks to everyone who answered.

@phl "Provincetown is governed, like most New England towns, by the open town meeting form of government. The citizens, gathered in the town meeting, act as the legislative branch and approve the budget and amend the town's bylaws, while the popularly elected Board of Selectmen act as the executive branch and hire and oversee the Town Manager, meet regularly to determine policy, and appoint members of other boards and commissions."
It's a "town" because of this form of government, apparently!
