#PennedPossibilities 796 — Have you had to cut anything significant from your WIP?
Plenty of times! But as I do this for a living, wasted words are wasted work, so I try to get everything right first time round.
(One of my two current WIPs is a problem child, and is now on the third re-write. If I can't stick the landing this time round, it's getting dumped: obviously I was over-ambitious, and the sunk cost fallacy applies.)

@Ryoma123 nah quello non dovrebbe influire granché se le macchine che li fanno girare in remoto sono sufficientemente potenti, fa molto di più la connessione: ricordo che ai tempi di Stadia con la fibra era una meraviglia, con una connessione diversa na merda

@stefano October '83 I worked with Siemens Data and was sent with some colleages to the release event of #Sinix, the Siemens Unix, and a mini computer series with that OS. Subsequently I took courses in the OS and #C programming. I read the first edition of "The C Programming Language" in German(!)
I was hooked. Since then it was primarily #Unix for me.

Potremmo puntare su Linux o software open....anche per i cellulari...., perchè non investirci qualcosa per dare impulso allo sviluppo ? L'esercito austriaco è passato a LibreOffice e, nell'apportare modifiche utili per sè, le ha poi diffuse migliorando LibreOffice per tutti....ad esempio. Qualcosina si muove, perchè non migliorare le cose ?
(c) forse questo è meno stringente, sapremmo cavarcela ?
