If y’all haven’t heard, Hedone Books is closing. That means a lot of incredible books, mostly queer SFF books, will become unavailable after March 31. The one I recommend the most is How to Survive This Fairytale—it was one of my favorite reads last year, and I read a LOT of good books last year. I recommend grabbing it while it’s still available. #QueerBooks #SFF @bookstodon

@greene Thank you for the reminder about this book! I got partway through it a few months ago and never finished it, not because I didn't like it but because ADHD. I need to go back and finish it. It's lovely.

Damn that's Carl Hewitt and Tony Hoare both gone. I know Gul Agha really did a lot of work to clean up actors to make them make sense, but that's the two predominent paradigms of asynchronous programming gone
