@mattblaze I find Manhattan much better. One reason why is that there's a very high density of birds—there aren't that many obvious habitats for birds that make it to the city, and NYC is on the Atlantic Flyway. Not that anyone knows these ravens have decided to set up housekeeping in Manhattan… There are a few birds I see more often in the DMV—black vultures, red-shouldered hawks, pileated woodpeckers, and especially bald eagles, though I've seen all of those in or very close to NYC.
