This is disingenuous. People have been used "brain rot" for decades now. The implication of irreversibility was always predicated on not doing a damn thing about it. It's exactly like a computer running badly written, useless or malicious software: induced cognitive damage doesn't require ruining the actual wetware like some drugs or physical/psychological trauma do, just using what you have in the wrong way.And I'm no killjoy: do whatever you want with your head and your life. But know the costs. You can actually train your headmeat to make life harder for yourself.https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg26635392-800-no-need-to-stop-the-brain-rot-modern-kids-arent-less-intelligent/#brainrot #SocialMedia #Journalism #Clickbait
