@slembcke I long ago noticed that my kitties' pupils got Really Big when they were very excited... and also when they were scared.(I would never deliberately frighten my cats, but taking them to the vet did make their eyes big.)

@dashdsrdash Ah. Yeah, he has scratchy boxen (and gets praised for using them), but he's also playful/got a strong prey drive. I'm pretty sure he claws the screens when there's something he wants to mess with on the other side.I can try putting a 'nip-laced scratchy box on the casement window sill, though. Maybe that'll distract him.
