I spent a lot of time in used record stores when I was in high school. I'm drawing a graphic novel that takes place back in that dimly remembered era before the Internet and cell phones. Still working on this recreation of my favorite shop near the UW in Seattle. You could often find great records for a dollar. They had a listening station with headphones and turntables so you could check them out before buying. Inspecting the vinyl for scratches was a necessary skill. #drawing
