@generalx There is a simple answer and a longer explanation.Yes I did. But I never really appreciated this until he had died. Well, maybe, in the last couple of years before as well.And wider than this (and also with hindsight), I did have a good relationship with my parents, but that was mostly my fault. I was a seriously fucked up kid - not their fault, it is just the way I was.And am a pretty fucked up adult, but am much better at understanding it now.Sorry - far too long answer.
