Su YunoHost è uscito l'aggiornamento di NodeBB alla versione 4.6.0. Ho cercato di aggiornare la mia versione 4.4.6~ynh1, ma non ha funzionato. L'aggiornamento è fallito. YunoHost, ha addirittura cancellato di brutto la vecchia installazione di NodeBB. Il ripristino automatico preaggiornamento dell'applicazione è fallito pure quello. Funziona solo il ripristino da un vecchio backup. Il giocattolo si è rotto. Tanto vale prenderne uno nuovo, installando l'ultima versione. Peccato!

This will allow me, and others on the 'verse, to follow your posts and updates without having to agree to Meta's EULA and give them access to personal data nor use freedom denying closed source non-free software that I don't want to.

i'm really confused, but that's nothing new. ;-)
i just figured since i was cc'd on the announcement and it pertained to RSS that there would be a feed in there somewhere i could brag about.
I do most of my feed reading in FeedLand, of course.

@NickBohle @darnell The ActivityPub plugin simply checks if Jetpack is installed on your blog. If not, it will do nothing ☺️
No lookups, no pings, just a local check for another plugin.

well, it does not trigger me, but does the plug-in send requests to jetpack/wp.com to check if the user is known? and if, what does Automattic do with the requests?
Sorry for asking, but I'm afraid that the plug-in might be cancelled due to lack of transparency.

@NickBohle @darnell there is no need to be triggered in any way, because the ActivityPub plugin will not force you to install Jetpack nor will make any connections itself.
This is a simple: If you are on DotCom or if you already use Jetpack, you can use this feature, otherwise you have to wait until we have the built in reader ready :)
