This is the same orchid bloom a few weeks apart. The one on the right, with more cream and blush tones, is how it looked when it first opened. The golden yellow one on the left is how it looks today. It also developed a wonderful sweet floral fragrance.#orchids #orchid

@hagaesthetic I really like phals out of all the orchids I've kept over the years - they are tough, enduring plants that will put up with a lot. My favourite phals have been the $0.99 specials (or whatever super low price) neglected on the closeout rack at a grocery or hardware store - I know underneath the sad exterior state that there's a plant ready to bounce back, and they almost always do.
