Thanks to everyone for answering! There were a lot of interesting replies.I'm about 2 hours, but I've got a wide variation -- from 3 hours to 1 hour plus a few seconds.I usually aim for 2 hours, but I don't always get it right. I also make the mistake of thinking that I need to be on the *grounds* of the airport 2 hours ahead of time, rather than *checked in with baggage dropped off* 2 hours ahead of time.Especially if I have a rental car, this can be a big difference.
@evan who's using the project? am i in a hurry to get it finished for some reason or is this a hobby project? do i have the tools in place or are their restraints on when i can get them and use them? am i doing this full-time or part-time? do i have other stuff going on?
That leaves games. I don't understand that song, honestly. It's based on a TV show where international teams competed in simple games. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Games_Without_Frontiers_%28song%29
@stefan I think you're tying yourself in a lot of knots to not accept that what people want, when they get replies to their followers-only posts, is to have those replies visible to their followers. When you see a followers-only post, the default audience for your reply should be the OP's followers.I'd like to make it clear that this is possible with ActivityPub, and it's the way other social networks handle this feature.
What percent of your posts , across all platforms) are negative or critical? This includes telling people why they are wrong pointing out a problem or putting forth negativity in any way.Feel free to take 24 hours and try to notice for voting.#poll #socialmedia #fediverse
@ami_angelwings These are the voyages of the starship argv_minus_one. Its continuing mission: to explore strange old computers, to seek out old memes and old cat videos, to boldly #shitpost where everyone has shitposted before.
So, I asked this question last year, same time. I was also at FOSDEM, far away from my home and family, the same as this year. I think I'd say, yes, but, again. Thanks all for the replies.
