@Viss Not really. Not only are people going to keep using it despite the failures, the article itself says:

I am a huge believer in artificial intelligence, and I believe that AI coding assistants have a valuable role to play in accelerating development and democratizing the process of software creation.

The quality will keep going down but the people will have sunk so much faith and capital into it that it will continue to dominate in spite of being objectively shit technology.
